Technical SAP Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in SAP technical roles, with at least 2-4 years in a managerial position.

• Deep technical expertise in SAP B1 modules, including  HANA, and system integration technologies.

• Proven experience in managing SAP technical projects, including full lifecycle implementations and upgrades.

• Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and the technical requirements for SAP systems in this industry.

• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple technical projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• SAP certification in technical modules is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP System Architecture and Development:
• Design and manage the technical architecture of SAP systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
• Oversee SAP module development, customization, and enhancement.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of SAP projects, including new deployments, system upgrades, and migrations.
• Ensure the SAP landscape supports the manufacturing processes, including production planning, materials management, quality management, and supply chain operations.

2. Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the SAP team, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with functional SAP teams and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure technical solutions are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and business needs.

3. System Integration and Performance Optimization:

• Manage the integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications, such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), CRM, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
• Optimize SAP system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Implement monitoring and troubleshooting processes to proactively address system issues and minimize downtime.
• Oversee SAP data management, including data migration, cleansing, and archiving, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the security of SAP systems by implementing robust access controls, encryption, and other security measures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure SAP systems comply with legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the electronic manufacturing industry.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to conduct regular security and compliance audits.

5. Project Management:

• Lead SAP technical projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of SAP projects within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, change logs, and test plans.

6. Training and Development:

• Oversee the training and development of the SAP technical team, ensuring they are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technical SAP team.
• Stay informed about SAP innovations, emerging technologies, and industry trends, applying relevant advancements to the company’s SAP environment.
